Cockburn´s Special Reserve is made from selected quality grapes, which are picked by hand at Cockburn’s own vineyard, and from selected neighbouring vineyards in the beautiful Upper Douro Valley. Cockburn’s Special Reserve Port’s particular style is achieved through longer ageing — longer than most other Reserve Ports — in seasoned oak vats, in order to achieve the ideal balance between vibrant youthful fruit and the elegant, smooth finish that wood maturation brings.
