This wine, originally dedicated to new arrivals in the Frescobaldi family, comes from the oldest vines of Castello di Nipozzano, naturally endowed with deep root systems. Of great complexity and harmony, this reserve wine is refined for 24 months in oak barrels according to ancient Tuscan tradition.

Sangiovese 90%, 10% and complementary grapes.

Nipozzano Vecchie Viti boasts a ruby-red colour that is luminous and brilliant. The nose opens with exceptionally ripe fruits: cherry, strawberry and raspberry are all prominent. Sweet scents of candy floss and wild rose, with notes of walnut and walnut husks. Spicy notes follow such as cloves, star anise, while the finish is very much mineral. The palate is persistent and fresh, very smooth.
