The La Braccesca farm, which extends over a total surface area of 420 hectares (approximately 1037 acres) consists of two distinct and separate blocks: the historic nucleus, located in Montepulciano, includes 103 hectares (some 254 acres) of vineyards in the appellation’s finest sub-zones for the production of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, while the second, with 162 hectares (approximately 400 acres) is situated in the foothills of the city of Cortona.

The wine shows ripe fruit on the nose along with notes of tobacco and spice. On the palate, cherry and blackberry are detectable along with balanced tannins that give the wine suppleness and elegance. The finish is long and mineral in flavour, typical of the Sangiovese of Montepulciano.
