Thanks to the combination of well-matured fruits and a variety of different vineyard sites, this wine brings forth black fruits with a powerful intensity. The greatest challenge has been to optimise the harvest time of all of the individual varieties. From a simple idea a great success story has been developed – all totally unplanned. The wide range of flavours can best be described as both fruity and spicy. Red fruits such as cherry, blackberry and blackcurrant hold forth, as do herbs, chocolate and vanilla. By prolonging the stay in oak barrels, a deeper, full-bodied red wine with fine elegant tannins has been created.
