METAXA 12 Stars is the signature expression of the METAXA Stars collection, is made with the wine distillates in both medium and heavily toasted oak casks. The time spent in the heavily toasted casks brings out more pronounced oaky and smoky notes to the distillates and, ultimately, to the spirits, spicy with dried fruits notes. It is best enjoyed as an aperitif.
