Frappato

A single-varietal frappato is rare, because the grape variety that ripens very late is usually blended with others. Frappato thrives on the sandy soils of Vittoria in southeast Sicily and as a results in a complex wine with race and character. A floral bouquet with aromas of cherry and peach, on the palate notes of strawberry, slightly mineral and slim, in the aftertaste the taste of apple and orange peel.
