Cigalus Rouge, The vineyard is managed according to the biodynamic system where the energy of the soil lies at the heart of the process. All the work in the vineyard and in the cellars is driven by a calendar based on two celestial objects: the moon and the sun. The vines are thus in equilibrium with the soil and are therefore able to give full expression of our terroir in the resultant wines. In 2010 the estate was awarded the Demeter label.

Djúpur rúbínrauður litur með mahónýblæ. Í ilminum koma strax fram þéttir, mjög þroskaðir svartir ávextir. Eftir stutta stund í glasinu opnast meiri flækjustig með grilluðum kryddtónum og ristuðum eik. Á gómnum er vínið ríkulegt og fyllingarmikið með flauelsmjúkum tannínum. Ilmur af svörtum ávöxtum – brómberjum, dökkum kirsuberjum og plómum – kemur aftur fram með flóknum reyktónum sem þróast yfir í myntu. Eftirbragðið er langt og í fullkomnu jafnvægi.
