Found part-way up a hill, just beneath the centre of the village, the Famille Perrin vineyard is amongst the most historic vineyards in Gigondas. It benefits greatly from the cool air flowing through the valley to the west of the village.

The vines here are rooted in limestone, calcareous marl and sandy soils, giving the Grenache immense finesse and elegance, in addition to some exceptional aromas.

Colour: Bright ruby red with purple undertones Nose: Cherries, thyme, blackberries Mouth: Round and full bodied with elegant tannins and great balance. Serve at 16°C with a veal chop, accompanied by delicious morel mushrooms, or a roasted breast of lamb.
